Poland softwood lumber prices began 2026 with little variation, as most construction and industrial-grade transactions were concluded within late 2025 pricing brackets. Poland softwood lumber prices remained largely unchanged, with no major movements reported across key product segments.

Spruce construction lumber continued to command premium values, maintaining the top end of the pricing spectrum. Standard structural sizes for construction were generally traded between €290 and €315/m³, with kiln-dried and strength-graded variants positioned closer to the upper boundary. Selected or planed spruce material was reported at €315–320/m³, although these volumes were limited and typically tied to consistent supply arrangements.

Poland softwood lumber prices segmented by species

Poland softwood lumber prices revealed a consistent spread between spruce and pine grades. Pine lumber was priced below spruce across all structural categories. Standard structural pine was widely traded between €260 and €290/m³, with adjustments based on grade and moisture specifications. Lower structural or mixed-grade pine, especially in spot deals or less stringent applications, saw pricing in the €250–270/m³ range. Competitive dynamics were more visible in the pine segment than in spruce.

Industrial and pallet grades priced at lower levels

The lower end of the Poland softwood lumber prices spectrum was occupied by industrial and pallet-grade materials. Fresh-sawn softwood lumber and mixed-species assortments for packaging use were offered at €230–260/m³. Lower-grade industrial material, lacking strength grading and offered with minimal processing, was typically reported at €230–250/m³.

Planed and value-added softwood products command premium

Processed and higher-finish materials continued to secure elevated Poland softwood lumber prices. Planed softwood lumber, depending on dimensions and finish specifications, was generally quoted between €320 and €350/m³. Although volumes remained modest in this segment, the price premiums relative to core construction categories were consistently maintained.

Stable pricing across product categories

Throughout early 2026, Poland softwood lumber prices displayed clear segmentation based on product type and processing level. The established price differentials between spruce and pine, as well as between construction and industrial materials, held firm. Market conditions indicated no major shifts in either supply patterns or transaction volumes during this period.
